About the Author:
Charuchandra Sanyal was born on July 23, 1897, in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. With a distinguished academic background and a deep sense of national duty, he contributed to social causes, including participating in the non-cooperation movement. He was a lecturer at National Medical College and played a prominent role in flood relief efforts in North Bengal in 1922. His work as an MLA (1946-47, 1951-69) and his contributions to the field of education earned him the prestigious Rabindra Puraskar in 1968. He passed away on July 12, 1980.
