About the Author:
Olivier Brito is a Sociology professor at the Department of Social Work, University Paris Ouest la Défense, France. With a background in Educational Sciences, he holds a doctoral degree from the same university. His research spans street children, child beggars, deviance, informal education, child-centred pedagogy, urban ethnography, and grounded theory. He is also a member of the International Sociological Association’s Research Committee on Sociology of Childhood.
Aditya Singh, co-author, is a PhD scholar at the School of Health Sciences and Social Work, University of Portsmouth, UK. His research interests focus on socio-economic disparities in health and healthcare in India, and his work has been published in leading international academic journals.
