- Started editing under Swami Shraddhananda at Udbodhan, the official journal of the Ramakrishna Mission.
- Began industrial journalism while working in the West Bengal government’s industrial sector, editing industry-related publications and promoting industrial awareness through radio and television.
- Later, he became associated with the Anandabazar Patrika group.
- Has written over fifty books, spanning various genres of literature.
