Author Details
K N Rao is a renowned Indian Vedic astrologer with deep expertise in the field. His full name is Kotamraju Narayana Rao, and he comes from a Brahmin family in Andhra Pradesh. He was the second of four children, with his father, K R Rao, being a distinguished journalist during the independence period. K N Rao’s elder brother, Pratap Rao, worked in the Foreign Service, and his younger brother, Vikram Rao, served as the President of the All India Working Journalists Association. His youngest brother retired as a bank manager and later contributed to the esteemed “Journal of Astrology.”
K N Rao is highly educated, having earned a Master's degree in English Literature before joining the Indian Audit and Accounts Service. He also worked as an English language lecturer. After retiring as Director-General in 1990, he focused on his passion for astrology, sharing his knowledge and insights with the world.
