About Tangail Saree:

Tangail sarees are known for their elegant hand-woven cotton fabric, often featuring intricate hand-worked buti, floral designs, or contemporary motifs. The hallmark of a Tangail saree is its extra weft buti, tiny motifs that are repeated all over the saree using a Jacquard loom. These cotton Tangail sarees are light, breathable, and perfect for daily wear.

Produced primarily in Nadia and Bardhaman districts by approximately 1,000 weavers and 2,000 ancillary artisans, these sarees are a colorful representation of Bengal's rich textile heritage.
