About the Author:
Samiran Bandyopadhyay was born on October 13, 1972, in Srirampur, Hooghly. With a Master’s degree in Political Science, he spent most of his life in Bongaon, a place rich with the memories of Bibhutibhushan, Rakhaldas, and Dinabandhu. His diverse professional experiences allowed him to interact with people from various walks of life, shaping his perspective on human nature and society.
Since 2017, he has been associated with Akashvani Kolkata as an announcer and presenter. His journey as a short story writer began in 1999 with Akashvani Kolkata’s ‘Srijani’ program. Over the past two decades, he has captivated readers of different ages with his stories, published in various magazines and literary journals. His debut as a novelist came in Sananda Pujo Edition (1427 Bengali Year) with Bishayaponer Meghrodduur.
