Author's Background:
Sadhana Mukhopadhyay was born on December 6, 1934, in Allahabad. She completed her M.A. in Geography and later pursued a B.T. degree from Kolkata University. She has spent many years in teaching and currently writes for Anandamela, a well-known Bengali magazine. She has authored several books, including poetry collections and geographical essays. Her book Jana-Ajana is a collection of geographical articles written under the pseudonym “Didimoni” for Anandamela. Mukhopadhyay has received several prestigious awards, including the "Pratishruti" award for poetry.
