Synopsis:
Basudev, an arrogant and self-centered man, has never truly loved anyone except himself. He remains indifferent to the pain, sorrow, and emotions of others. His wife, Shikha, has emotionally distanced herself from him, and his children despise him. Basudev is aware of their hatred, yet he remains unaffected, living a life driven by selfishness and reckless desires.
His obsession with other women leads to an affair with Reena, a married woman, who bears his illegitimate child. Despite his flaws, Basudev continues his life like a wild horse, refusing to change his ways even at the age of sixty-six. However, one day, his arrogance pushes him towards a reckless decision. Standing on the eighth-floor staircase, he hears the distant sound of approaching footsteps—but whose footsteps are they? Is it the sound of his ego? Or is it the call of death?
Siri Bhenge Bhenge is an intense psychological exploration of a man trapped in his own pride, facing the inevitable consequences of his actions.
