About the Author
Sadhana Mukhopadhyay was born on December 6, 1934, in Allahabad. She spent her student life in Allahabad, completing her M.A. in Geography and later her B.T. from Calcutta University. She has been a teacher for a long time and is now a contributor to the Anandamela magazine. Sadhana has also written extensively in the field of geography and has been recognized for her work with several awards. In addition to her work in education and geography, Sadhana has written multiple books of poetry, and her debut poetry collection “Akashkanya” was followed by many others. Her works also include geographical essays, children's books, and pieces that have appeared in various publications like Anandabazar Patrika.
