About the Author:

Nandita Bagchi was born in Jalpaiguri, India. After spending time in Kolkata and Delhi, she moved abroad. She lived in Northeastern Nigeria, where she worked as a teacher and traveled extensively across rural West Africa due to her doctor husband's assignments and her involvement in social work.

She was an active member of the International Women’s Club in Nigeria and participated in various community projects. Her travels have taken her to many countries, and upon returning to India, she continues to engage in writing and social work. She has a deep passion for nature and maintains a close connection with plants and trees. Her works are regularly published in both Bengali and English magazines.
