About the Author: K N RAO
K N Rao is a respected Indian Vedic astrologer, known for his vast knowledge and expertise in astrology. He was born into a Brahmin family in Andhra Pradesh and was the second of four children. His father, K R Rao, was an eminent journalist during India’s independence period. K N Rao’s elder brother, Pratap Rao, served in the Foreign Service, while his younger brother, Vikram Rao, held the position of President of the All India Working Journalists Association. His youngest brother retired as a bank manager and later contributed to the Journal of Astrology.
K N Rao has a Master’s degree in English Literature and started his career as an English lecturer before joining the Indian Audit and Accounts Service. After a distinguished career, he retired as Director-General in 1990. His profound understanding of astrology, combined with his deep insights into human behavior, continues to influence many in the field.
