Dr. Doshi has authored, co-authored, and edited over two dozen books, covering a broad range of sociological subjects including Postmodern Perspectives on Indian Society and Tribal Ethnicity, Class and Integration.

P.C. Jain is a sociology professor at Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, Udaipur. He is known for his extensive research on the peasant movement in Rajasthan.
