Synopsis:
In a small settlement, Munni chooses her elder brother Habi as her partner, leaving Ruh puzzled. But trouble arises when Kushi, the chief's son, refuses to accept their relationship and challenges Habi to a deadly duel. Habi flees, but Ruh is captured and subjected to severe punishment. Just when all hope seems lost, a mysterious figure dressed in black rescues him. Now on a quest to find his fugitive brother and missing mother, Ruh encounters an old man named Yuvan, a former king whose soul merges with Ruh's body. Yuvan has three desires—to possess a female artist, to taste the juice of the mystical Jibil tree, and to defeat King Vishma in battle. As Ruh embarks on a journey filled with dreams and struggles, he meets Rurusha, a woman who may be his mother or the artist Yuvan seeks. Fate and time conspire, taking Ruh to an unknown destination where reality and fantasy intertwine in this extraordinary mythical tale by Sunil Gangopadhyay.
