Book Description:
The setting is the 16th century, during the reign of Emperor Akbar, as the Mughal Empire expands across India. In Bengal, intense rivalries between the Mughals and the Pathans vie for power. Amidst this historical backdrop, after the untimely demise of Maharaja Rudranarayan, Queen Bhavashankari ascends the throne of Bhurshut kingdom. However, dark conspiracies and secret preparations for external attacks threaten her reign. Can the queen outwit the conspirators and protect her kingdom and family from the impending danger? Based on a lesser-known royal tale of ancient Bengal's lower Damodar land, this historical narrative weaves a compelling tale of strategy, bravery, and survival.
