About the Author:

• Born in Banbarasati village, Debra, Medinipur district.
• Studied at Martala Satyeshwar Institution and Dashgram Satish Chandra Sarvarthasadhak Siksha Sadan.
• Graduated from Medinipur College (KB) with BSc (Honors) and completed MSc in Botany (First Class First).
• Started as a teacher, then pursued a PhD with a UGC scholarship.
• Joined West Bengal Civil Service (WBCS) as a police officer and served in various districts:
  • DSP & SDPO in West Dinajpur, Purulia, Murshidabad, North 24 Parganas, Howrah, and South 24 Parganas.
  • Worked in West Bengal Intelligence and Detective Departments.
  • Served in UN Peacekeeping Force (Bosnia-Herzegovina, 2001-2002).
