Book Summary:
Deep within a dense forest, there lies a vast pond, its tranquility untouched by time. Beside it stands an old, dilapidated hut, home to Jalpeswar, an elderly recluse.
One day, the peaceful silence of the forest is shattered when four mysterious individuals arrive, claiming to be tourists. But Jalpeswar senses danger—these are no ordinary travelers; they belong to a notorious militant group. They have chosen his hut as their secret hideout for a sinister conspiracy.
As fear grips him, Jalpeswar realizes that these men threaten not only his home but the entire land—the serene forest, its beauty, and its harmony. Helpless and old, he knows he cannot fight them. But how can he stop them?
As terrifying events unfold before his eyes, Jalpeswar is forced to witness the brutality of violence. Yet, amid the chaos, he longs for something deeper—the unbreakable bond that connects the past and the future, the undying flow of blood and life itself.
A gripping tale of power, resistance, and survival, Raktadharay Tan is a thought-provoking novel that delves into the clash between peace and destruction.
