Author Bio:
Adris Bardan (অদ্রীশ বর্ধন) was born on December 1, 1932, in Kolkata, into a teacher's family. Driven by his passion for adventure, he frequently changed jobs during his career before finally dedicating himself to writing. He is the founder of India’s first science fiction monthly magazine Aascharya! (আশ্চর্য!), where he used the term 'Kopovigyan' (কল্পবিজ্ঞান) as the Bengali equivalent of science fiction. Besides writing, he has edited magazines such as Fantastic and Kishor Mon. His works are also listed in the Encyclopedia of Science Fiction, published in Sweden.
