Sudhir Dutta: Born on 12th April 1951 in Nildah, West Medinipur, Sudhir Dutta grew up in a pious and academically rich environment. He pursued English literature and initially had a keen interest in spiritual life. After some years of work in education and banking, he joined the West Bengal Civil Services in 1979. Sudhir Dutta began writing poetry during his school years, and he was deeply influenced by poets like T.S. Eliot and Shankha Ghosh. He made a comeback in poetry after ten years of voluntary exile and was honored with the prestigious Anand Award for his collection "Thambu Moi O Shrestho Kobitagochho".
