About the Book:
It is said that "what is not in India, is nowhere." But do we really know what is present in India's epic, the Mahabharat? While some may have an idea, not everyone is fully aware. For those who are curious but haven't read the entire Mahabharat, and for those who have read it but cannot recall all the details, this book is written with them in mind. This fascinating and labor-intensive book by Bishnupad Chakraborty is not just for those unfamiliar with the Mahabharat, but also for those who want to retain the intricate details of the epic.

What does this book offer? It includes multiple concise summaries to help readers quickly grasp key aspects of the Mahabharat. You will find a treasure trove of intriguing facts about the Mahabharat, including the current names and locations of various places, rivers, mountains, and forests mentioned in the epic. Additionally, it provides an easy-to-understand introduction to the Vedas, Puranas, and Upanishads. There are explanations for collective terms like Saptarishi, Ashtavasu, and Dwadash Aditya. Most importantly, the book includes an alphabetical listing of important characters and places from the Mahabharat, making it an essential reference tool for quick access to necessary information.
