Book Description:
As a child, little Bishu was often bewildered by life’s questions—why is there injustice, why so much suffering, what is considered a sin? Even as he grows into Bishwaroop Sen, a responsible police officer, his confusion remains. He carries a hidden fatigue, a profound sorrow, and a constant inner conflict. However, Bishwaroop is fearless, unshaken by life or death. He is the hero of "Operation Surinder," facing off against the dangerous extremist leader Surinder, who wields sophisticated weapons like an AK-47 and is on the run after assassinating an MP and his family.
Yet, despite his courage, doubts remain. Bakul, comparing him to her timid husband, sees him as a heroic figure. Even to Bandana, the partner of the terrorists, he is "Mr. Sex Appeal." Then why does he still feel uncertain? Kapurush is a fast-paced and uniquely compelling novel set against the backdrop of modern-day conflict—unfolding the deep and complex story of a new-age Arjuna caught in the battlefield of terror and morality.
