Synopsis:

In the bustling crowd of Howrah Station, Mithu's father let go of her hand. Before she could even grasp what had happened, she became an orphan. Helpless and alone, she found refuge in Ishwarer Basa, the orphanage run by Father Hopkins. Despite being given the opportunity to study and lead a respectable life, the wounds inflicted by her father’s cruelty remained deep in her heart.

But can such scars ever truly heal? What ultimately shapes an individual—hereditary traits, environment, or a mysterious blend of both? Through the journey of Mithu and her companions, this novel explores the enigmatic forces that mold human destiny.
