About the Authors

B.K. Nagla is a former Professor of Sociology at M.D. University, Rohtak. He has also taught at M.S. University, Baroda and the Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, New Delhi. Post-retirement, he served as a consultant to Kota Open University and held the position of Babu Jagjivan Ram Chair Professor at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has been a visiting professor at several universities both in India and abroad.

Sheobahal Singh is a former Professor of Sociology at DDU Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. Specializing in society and economy, he has extensively contributed to journals, edited volumes, and conferences on entrepreneurship, development, and social change. His published works include Entrepreneurship and Social Change and Sociology of Development.
