Hatmaksho (The Patchwork) is a tale about the complexities of modern life, where the lines between relationships, emotions, and memories are often blurred. The story revolves around a group of college students and focuses on the phase of their lives where friendship, love, ego, and regret mix with the remnants of past relationships and the pull of memories.

The narrative flows like the flowing stream of life, with each character's journey intertwining with others, sometimes in profound and unexpected ways. The story unfolds like a patchwork quilt, made up of fragmented pieces of lives and experiences, sewn together with emotions, hopes, and dreams. These characters, in their daily lives, grapple with their own internal struggles, the passage of time, and the weight of nostalgia, leading to new twists in relationships and life choices.

Set against the backdrop of a world brimming with contemporary youth, the story showcases the tenderness and melancholy of relationships, illuminated by the fading light of late evening. It explores the illusion of permanence and the impermanence of connections, making Hatmaksho a moving tale that speaks to the heart.

The main character, who serves as the story's narrator, is an artist of sorts, weaving together fragments of memories and moments into a personal tapestry, or "hatmaksho", that captures the essence of human experience. The beauty and bittersweet nature of youth, with its contradictions and aspirations, are brought to life in this novel.
