About the Book:

"Hasikhushi Mukhe Sarbanash" by Shankha Ghosh is a powerful collection of poems that reflects the complexities of human emotions. The title, which translates to "Destruction with a Smiling Face," captures the essence of the themes explored in the book—how life, despite its inherent contradictions, often finds a way to survive through irony, humor, and pain. The poems in this collection delve into the fragility of happiness and the inevitability of despair, illustrating the dualities of existence.

Ghosh's mastery in blending lyrical beauty with poignant themes makes this collection a significant read for anyone interested in contemporary Bengali poetry. His work challenges the boundaries of conventional poetry and invites readers to explore the deeper aspects of life and society, all while maintaining a delicate balance between joy and sorrow.
