About the Author
Mr. R.N. Kogata and Mrs. Lalita Kogata are well-known collectors and creators of Lord Ganesha artworks, with a remarkable collection of over 7,800 statues, idols, and paintings. They also run the Ganesha Gallery in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
The couple has authored several books, including Maa - The Mother, Pati - The Husband in the Eyes of Wife, Patnee - The Wife in the Eyes of Husband, Insaan, and Indian Marriage: Customs and Rituals. Their unique artistic contributions include 1,000 different paintings of Lord Ganesha, each representing one of his 1,000 names from Hindu scriptures.
Mr. Kogata is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary by profession, while Mrs. Kogata holds a postgraduate degree and is a part Company Secretary. Their son, Devashish, is also an artist and has created over 700 pencil sketches of Lord Ganesha.
