🔹 Abul Bashar was born in 1951, and at the age of six, his family moved from the village to Teka in Murshidabad, where he spent much of his early life. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Calcutta University and also holds a Diploma in Hindi Literature.

🔹 Bashar’s early years were shaped by poverty, social inequality, and oppression, which deeply influenced his literary work. His writing journey began in 1971 with the publication of his first poetry book titled "Jor Uproano Dalpala Bhanga Ar Ek Ritu". However, after a brief hiatus due to his involvement in politics, he returned to writing and shifted to fiction, publishing his first story “Mati Chhere Jay”.
