Brustro High Gloss Varnish is a premium, non-removable varnish specially formulated for acrylic paintings. It provides a clean, high-gloss finish that enhances colour depth while forming a permanent, non-yellowing and water-resistant protective layer once fully dry.
This fluid, water-based varnish dries smoothly with a glossy appearance and can be diluted with up to 25% water to improve flow and ease of application. Due to the fast-drying nature of acrylics, it is recommended to apply the varnish pre-diluted to avoid over-brushing, as excessive brushing may cause fogging after drying.
In addition to use as a final varnish, it can also be mixed into acrylic paints as an additive to increase gloss and improve flow characteristics. With excellent binder and adhesive qualities, this varnish is suitable for professional artists seeking a durable, glossy finish for their acrylic artworks. Do not mix with oil-based media.
