About the Author:
Sadhana Mukhopadhyay was born on December 6, 1934, in Allahabad. She completed her student life in Allahabad and earned a Master's degree in Geography. Later, she also completed a B.T. degree from Calcutta University. Having spent a long time as a teacher, she is currently involved with Anandamela, a popular Bengali monthly magazine.
Sadhana Mukhopadhyay is not only a writer but also an accomplished poet, with her first poetry collection titled "Akashkanya". She has published several other poetry books and has also written geographical essays under the pen name "Didimoni" in Anandamela. She has received multiple awards, including the Promise Award for her poetry. Alongside her literary work, she has contributed significantly to children's literature, helping make everyday challenges, like feeding kids, more manageable for parents.
