She is a prolific author, with several cookbooks published in Bengali, Hindi, and English. Shatarupa writes regularly for various newspapers and magazines across India and has also hosted cooking shows on Doordarshan. Her books have earned her a reputation for bringing both traditional and innovative approaches to the kitchen.
