- He was a highly respected translator and scholar with expertise in Bengali, English, and Russian literature.
- His career as a foreign correspondent for Anandabazar Patrika, Hindustan Standard, and Desh while residing in Moscow allowed him to bring a unique perspective on various cultural topics.
- Ghosh’s contributions included translations of foreign literature and numerous essays on subjects like literature, music, sculpture, and visual arts.
- He passed away at the age of 34 on September 15, 1963.
