About the Book
Worksheets for Budding Designers bridges the gap between theory and practice in architecture and design education. Deepika Gandhi’s innovative approach provides students with a hands-on, interactive learning experience that complements the traditional methods taught in classrooms and studios. The book is designed as a unique activity guide that takes learners through essential design skills in a fun and action-oriented way.
Covering a range of foundational topics, this activity book introduces design elements such as lettering, sketching, anthropometrics, and color theory. It also delves into practical aspects of design, including dimensioning, furniture layout, and cost management, ensuring that budding designers gain the necessary skills to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts. Additionally, the book covers vernacular names of elements and various design techniques, offering students a well-rounded education in architecture and design.
By engaging with Worksheets for Budding Designers, students will not only hone their practical skills but also develop a deeper understanding of the design process, preparing them for a successful career in the field.
