About the Book

Wonder Tales for a Warming Planet is a thought-provoking collection of short stories that offer a glimpse into the lives of ordinary young children trying to make sense of a planet under extraordinary threat. Rajat Chaudhuri masterfully crafts playful worlds with subtle allegories, shedding light on the very real dangers of climate change and its far-reaching effects. Through these stories, he encourages young readers to reflect on their own role in protecting the environment and the immense power of collective action.

The book tackles pressing topics such as renewable energy, growing urbanization, and sustainable coexistence with nature. Each story acts as a gentle introduction to climate fiction, providing both entertainment and critical insight into the challenges of our time. The tales are designed not just to entertain, but to make readers pause and reconsider the future of the planet. Wonder Tales for a Warming Planet is a compelling call for action, urging everyone to think about the ways we can all contribute to a more sustainable world.
