About the Author

J.P. Singh is an accomplished author and lexicographer with an MA from Patna University, an MPhil from JNU, and a PhD from the Australian National University, Canberra. He has held significant academic positions, including Associate Professor of Research Methodology at TISS, Mumbai, and Pro Vice-Chancellor and Professor of Sociology at Patna University. He has authored 40 books and published more than 100 research papers, essays, and reviews. Singh has also served as Director of the Population Research Centre at Patna University and held a Professional Associateship at the Population Institute, East-West Center, Hawaii (USA).
