Author Info
Dr. Mrs. Sunanda Joshi comes from a family deeply rooted in the field of education. After completing her B.A. in Economics and Politics in 1973, she worked with the Reserve Bank of India from 1966 until her voluntary retirement in 1994. In 1995, rekindling her interest in Sanskrit studies, she joined the Department of Sanskrit at the University of Mumbai, where she completed a Diploma Course in Sanskrit and later earned an M.A. in Vedanta, securing first-class honors. Her passion for philosophy, particularly Vedanta, led her to research the "Trends of Philosophical Thought reflected in the Mahabharata," which she submitted as a thesis, earning a Ph.D. She remains actively involved in research, regularly presenting her work at seminars and conferences.
