The Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Pads are high-quality, economical bristol boards designed for finished artwork, practice, and professional use. Made with acid-free 100 lb (270 gsm) paper, these pads ensure durability, longevity, and excellent performance across a wide range of drawing and illustration techniques.
Available in two distinct surfaces, Smooth and Vellum, these bristol pads cater to different artistic needs. The Smooth surface provides a hard, slick finish that is ideal for precise line work, making it perfect for graphite, pen and ink, markers, airbrush, and mechanical drawing. The Vellum surface offers a slightly textured finish, giving better tooth and control for dry media such as graphite pencil, colored pencil, charcoal, pastel, crayon, sketching sticks, mixed media, and oil pastel.
Each pad contains 20 to 24 sheets depending on size and is tape bound for easy sheet removal.
