About the Author:
Prof. B.K. Nagla, former Professor of Sociology at M.D. University, Rohtak, is a noted academic in the areas of Political Sociology, Sociology of Professions, Deviance and Crime, and Studies on Underprivileged Communities. He also served on the Babu Jagjivan Ram Chair at Banaras Hindu University and is currently the Managing Editor of Bhartiya Samajshastra Sameeksha, the journal of the Indian Sociological Society.
