About the Author

Shambhulal Doshi has taught at South Gujarat University, Surat, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, and Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He has extensively researched social change, stratification, and primitive societies. His monographs on these topics have been widely published.

Prakashchandra Jain is a prominent sociologist of the new generation. He has worked on social movements, social change, and issues concerning tribal and marginalized communities. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, Udaipur.
