About the Author:

Uma Parameswaran was born and educated in India and has lived in Canada since 1966. She holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University and is a Professor of English at the University of Winnipeg.

Parameswaran is an accomplished scholar and author of several critical essays on postcolonial literatures, as well as works of fiction, including:
