About the Author / Editor
M.C. Behera has been conducting research in Tribal Studies and Rural Economics since the 1980s. He has authored, edited, and co-edited thirty volumes on the socio-economic and cultural life of tribal and rural people, publishing over sixty-five research papers in national and international journals. Behera has presented numerous papers at conferences and is a member of several professional bodies. He served as the Director of the Arunachal Institute of Tribal Studies and as the Professor of Indigenous Culture Studies and Dean of the School of Cultural Studies at the Central University of Jharkhand.
