Tangail sarees are handwoven using both cotton and silk with intricate motifs, either floral or contemporary, often created using the Jacquard loom. The saree is distinguished by its extra weft buti, tiny motifs that are repeated across the fabric, adding an artistic and elegant touch. Cotton Tangail sarees are light, making them ideal for daily wear, while the Silk variant is more luxurious and vibrant, suitable for special occasions.
