Steven Cohen is the senior vice dean of the School of Professional Studies and professor of the practice of public affairs at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He is also the director of the Earth Institute’s Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management. Cohen has authored several influential works, including Sustainability Management (2014), Understanding Environmental Policy (second edition, 2014), and The Sustainable City (second edition, 2021), all published by Columbia University Press. His research and teachings are widely respected in the field of environmental sustainability.
