Dr. Mrinalini Vivek Manohar was raised in a family with a strong academic background. Her father, a Professor of Physics and recipient of the Jagannath scholarship, inspired her interest in Sanskrit studies. She completed a degree course in Nutrition in 1972. In 1994, she chose to focus on her family while nurturing intelligent daughters with promising careers. Encouraged by her father's academic legacy, she enrolled in the Department of Sanskrit and pursued a series of Sanskrit courses. She completed her M.A. in Sanskrit, specializing in Vedanta. Her research, titled "Earlier and Later Upanisads: A Comparative Study," was submitted to the University of Mumbai for which she was awarded a Ph.D. Dr. Manohar continues to engage in research and participates in various Seminars and Conferences.
