About the Author / Editor
Tarun Mene is an Assistant Professor at the Arunachal Institute of Tribal Studies (AITS), Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh. He belongs to the Idu Mishmi community and has a PhD in Anthropology. His research focuses on tribal issues, especially suicide and other socio-cultural aspects of tribal life. He has published numerous papers on tribal matters concerning Arunachal Pradesh.
Sarit K. Chaudhuri is a Professor of Anthropology and the Director of the National Museum of Mankind (IGRMS), Bhopal. He has published 13 books and over 50 research papers. His work has involved extensive research in Arunachal Pradesh, and he is a key figure in the academic study of the Idu Mishmi tribe.
