The Begumpuri saree is a beautiful handwoven creation originating from Hooghly district. The sarees are made by 2,000 weavers and 1,000 artisans. These cotton sarees are well-known for their deep, bright colours and easy maintenance, not requiring frequent starching. The structure is loosely woven, yet the feel remains smooth and elegant.
