The book features contributions from leading specialists, offering historical perspectives on the pivotal concerns, conflicts, and collective actions of the Punjabi people in their resistance and reform efforts. The studies cover a broad range of topics including social reform, ethnicity, religious politics, national integration, and political violence.
The volume is especially valuable for students and researchers of social science disciplines focused on Punjab but is also of great interest to those studying social movements, political dynamics, and the evolution of modern Punjab.
