About the Author:

Rajashree Basu Adhikari was born on June 10, 1964, in Siliguri.
She spent her childhood and adolescence in Siliguri and Malda.
She completed her B.Sc. from Bardhaman Vivekananda College and an LLB from Bardhaman University.
Initially, she worked as a Co-operative Inspector and later joined the judicial services.
Currently, she is the Additional District and Sessions Judge at the Fast Track Court in Purulia.
Her first published story, "Ami Bhalo Achi," appeared in the Desh magazine in 2006.
