Synopsis:
The journey of life is a fascinating phenomenon. Over time, relationships intertwine in unexpected ways, and love often returns in unforeseen forms. This novel, divided into four parts, spans twenty-five years and introduces us to a diverse cast of characters—Hawa Dadu, the power-hungry Birendra, the rural political leader Jagannath, a poor poet, university student Jini, lovers Urja and Raju, hardworking individuals Lalu and Bindi, the enigmatic Jhiri Kumar, and many others. A single murder alters the course of multiple lives, setting off a chain of events that explore the struggle between light and darkness, hatred and love. This novel is a journey from despair to hope, from violence to love, and ultimately, to the search for the ‘jasmine of the empty road.’
