About the Author:
Shirsh Bandyopadhyay is a renowned journalist and writer. He has worked with leading daily newspapers, TV channels, and German radio for five years. Apart from journalism, he has also been involved in documentary filmmaking, scriptwriting for Akashvani and Doordarshan, and theater productions.

His literary journey began with feature writing for Anandabazar Patrika in 1989, followed by his first feature in Desh magazine in 1992 titled "Beneputul". His debut novel ‘Shardulsundari’ was first serialized in the Sharadiya Desh (1422 Bengali Year) and was highly acclaimed.

He is currently associated with Ajkal newspaper.
