About the Author:
Binayak Bandyopadhyay was born in Kolkata. His father, the renowned Sanskrit scholar Parashnath Bandyopadhyay, and his mother, Gouri Bandyopadhyay, hailed from contrasting backgrounds—his paternal lineage being that of impoverished refugees, while his maternal lineage traced back to the royal family of Maluti.
