About the Author:

Abhijit Choudhuri was born on September 1, 1963, in central Kolkata. He holds an MA in English Literature and a PG Diploma in Personnel Management. Currently serving as the BDO of Tehatta, Nadia, as part of the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive), he has authored several works, including Manthara, Samagata Madhumas (Vol. 1 & 2), Dharmantar, and Dharme Achi, Girafe Nei. His short story collection Dashti Golpo has also been widely appreciated.

He received the Madanmohan Tarkalankar Award in 2017, and his novel Manthara has been translated into Odia.
